ACES NSLI-Y China Group 1 has had a busy first week! After their flight, students arrived and settled into dorms for the night. The next day students went on a tour of the university, attended a welcome banquet, and then met their host families.

The students had their first language classes, first lunch in the cafeteria, and their first meeting with local Chinese peers who act as their language partners throughout the program.

This week students also had a class on Taiji and visited the Muslim Quarter and Xi’an’s Grand Mosque.
