Everyone is still upbeat, though the realization that we are now at the half-way point is making some of us a little sad. We’re all determined to make every remaining minute count!

On Wednesday afternoon, we visited the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Daxingshan Temple.The Small Wild Goose Pagoda was built in CE 707-710 to store the Buddhist sutras that Monk Yi Jing had brought from India.
Daxingshan Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in China and a birthplace of Chinese Tantric Buddhism. It also is a depository for Buddhist sutras from India. To finish our post for Week 3, here are photos from our visit to these two famous sites:
