Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange & Study Program (YES Abroad)

The Kennedy-Lugar YES Abroad program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, provides scholarships for American high school students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and study abroad in countries with significant Muslim populations. Applicants can choose one of the following countries: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Morocco, North Macedonia, Senegal, Thailand, and Türkiye.
